AAW sponsors Kuwait’s signature annual food festival, Taste of Kuwait

Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) alongside its German brands, Nolte Kitchens and Bosch Home Appliances, today announced its support of Kuwait’s signature annual food festival, "Taste of Kuwait", held March 17-19 at Marina Crescent.

AAW’s Nolte outfitted the festival’s guests, including Food Network, BBC, and Kuwaiti television celebrity chefs, at the "Nolte Kitchens Chef Tent", where a state-of-the-art Nolte Kitchen was installed. The Food Network and BBC celebrity chefs, alongside successful local chefs, displayed cooking demonstrations to the public, showcasing the various flavours and extensive range of dishes that can be made at the global Nolte kitchen, alongside Kuwaiti cuisine.

General Manager at AAW, Ali F. Al Mutawa said: "As a business dedicated to offering the highest quality kitchens to the largest segment of audience out there,we at AAW are delighted to know that the Nolte Kitchens and Bosch appliances helped the chefs create culinary delicacies and international cuisines to the Kuwaiti public."

At the food festival, Bosch introduced the "Bosch Cooking School", a course guided by the celebrity Chefs to train the participants in the creation of their dishes through an exclusive workshop. Bosch products were available for sale at the festival.

The three-day food festival hosted a number of international chefs preparing a variety of international dishes, and included workshops, product displays, and live music. Celebrity chefs included Kuwait’s own Chef Adlah Alsharhan and Chef Sulaiman Alqassar, French/New Zealand Chef David Cadoret, Radisson Blu Hotel Kuwait Executive Chef and Middle East and Turkey Area Executive Chef David Harnois, French/UK Chef Eric Lanlard, Thai Chef Ian Kittichai, South African Chef Jenny Morris, and Indian/UK Chef Reza Mahammad.
