AAW supports development of youth and economic growth through INJAZ-Kuwait

2 March 2016

Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) today announced the continued partnership with INJAZ-Kuwait, the non-profit, non-governmental organization, and its educational mission to target Kuwait’s youth in 2016 through cutting-edge training programs, focusing on work readiness and entrepreneurship.

The partnership, driven by Kuwait’s private sector, aims to support and enhance work readiness education opportunities for youth in Kuwait. Utilizing 18 AAW employee volunteers, 165 youth participants will benefit from five classes and four programs to take place throughout 2016: Entrepreneurship Masterclass, Career Success, Job Shadow, and Innovation Camp programs across Kuwait.

AAW Deputy CEO and Founding Member of INJAZ-Kuwait, Khaled Faisal Al-Mutawa said: "With educational institutions lacking the proper resources to offer entrepreneurship experience or preparation for the workplace, many of our youth miss the opportunity to develop skills in these areas. As a key issue in Kuwait, we at AAW are strong supporters of INJAZ-Kuwait and its mission to educate the youth, and look forward to another year of remarkable results and growth in the workforce talent of Kuwait."

INJAZ-Kuwait Chief Executive Officer, Rana Al-Nibari said: "Aimed towards the empowerment of youth through strong partnerships, INJAZ-Kuwait would like to thank all organization and participants for their commitment to helping aid us in our educational mission. We thank AAW for sharing our promising, educational journey, and contributing to the progress of Kuwait with us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your commitment, and we look forward to a successful future."

INJAZ-Kuwait, part of Injaz Al Arab, is a nonprofit organization that prepares students for a career in the private sector, aiming to promote youth education and training in the Arab World. AAW has supported the INJAZ-Kuwait since its inception, 10 years ago
