Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) and The North Face, one of the largest outdoor apparel and gear retailers, today announced this year’s winners of The North Face Challenge V.4, the fourth edition of Kuwait’s toughest multidiscipline athletic competition held on February 6, 2016 at Al-Mutla’a desert.
This year, a record-breaking number of 216 enthusiasts from over 32 countries participated in the Challenge, with athletes competing in two categories, Men and Women.
In first place of the Men’s category was Maali Babiker with a time of 1:20:47, while Renata Hoppova snagged gold in Women’s with a time of 1:44:07. The two categories included 17 kilometers of trail running.

The North Face Challenge was developed by AAW in 2013 under The North Face, an American outdoor product company with clothing and equipment lines catering to outdoor enthusiasts and athletes.
