Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. Releases 2025 Sustainability Report

Kuwait, 25 August 2026: Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) today released its 2025 Sustainability Report, marking the company's third consecutive year of sustainability reporting and reaffirming its commitment to responsible business practices, transparency, and long-term value creation. The report highlights AAW's sustainability efforts and progress across four key focus areas: Business & Market Presence, People and Social Impact, Responsible Governance, and Environmental Footprint, showcasing initiatives that support organizational performance and strengthen the company's positive impact. Prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards 2021, the report reflects AAW's commitment to enhancing disclosure practices and embedding sustainability principles across its business.

AAW Chairman and CEO, Mr. Faisal Ali Al Mutawa, said: “As we move forward, we will continue strengthening our sustainability practices while maintaining our focus on operational excellence and responsible growth. By integrating sustainability into how we manage our people, our resources, and our relationships, we aim to create long-term value for our stakeholders and contribute positively to the communities we serve.”

As part of its efforts to promote sustainability in the workplace, AAW continued to foster a culture of quality and operational excellence, achieving a 94% compliance rate with food safety standards and brand requirements while maintaining internationally recognized quality standards, including ISO 9001:2015 certification. These efforts were reflected in the customer experience, with the company achieving a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSAT) score of 4.21 out of 5, in addition to a customer service satisfaction rate exceeding 76%.

In the area of community impact, AAW continued to invest in developing its human resources, delivering 5,069.89 training hours during 2025, an 85% increase compared to the previous reporting period. The percentage of employees receiving regular performance and career development reviews also increased by 15%, while employee turnover declined by 25%, reflecting the company's efforts to provide a supportive and stable work environment. AAW also invested KD 1.7 million in community initiatives and programs supporting a range of social, educational, and humanitarian causes across Kuwait, reflecting its commitment to creating a positive and sustainable impact on society.

The company continued to strengthen its corporate governance practices, with women representing 44.44% of its Board of Directors. The company also recorded no material compliance violations or customer data breaches, reflecting the strength of its governance framework and its commitment to responsible business practices, while reinforcing information security and stakeholder trust.
