Kuwait, July 3, 2023: Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) celebrated the grand opening of its 14th "INTERSPORT'' store in Kuwait, located in the newly launched Al Andalus Mall in Hawally. The ceremony took place on May 31, 2023, and was attended by INTERSPORT's CEO, Mr. Steve Evers, as well as AAW’s Management team, including Mr. Faisal Al Mutawa, and Mr. Khalid Faisal Al Mutawa.
Spanning over 810 sqm, the brand-new two-level store offers an extensive range of athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories, catering to various sports categories including running, training, football, swimming, racket sports, and more. Additionally, the store includes dedicated sections for lifestyle products, children's items, and the customization of football sports jerseys.
INTERSPORT made its debut in Kuwait in 2015. Since then, the brand has established a strong reputation in the sports sector by providing exceptional and high-quality products, catering to both professionals and amateurs customers.
INTERSPORT currently operates 14 stores strategically located across Kuwait. The store locations include Murouj, The Avenues, Al Bairaq Mall, Rafa Nadal Academy, Sultan Salmiya, Manara Mall, The Assima Mall, Al Tilal Complex, Bnaider (Road 264), Souq Sharq, The Walk Mall, Al Andalus Mall in Hawally, SVN Beach Resort, and the newly opened Al Khiran Mall. Al Andalus Mall in Hawally is a recently developed mixed-use project in Kuwait.
