Kuwait, March 27, 2025: Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) announced the successful conclusion of its sponsorship of the National Bank of Kuwait Ramadan Challenge — a 10-day fitness event organized by Suffix, from March 7 to 17 at Al Shaheed Park that saw over 1,000 participants from all age groups compete daily over 10 consecutive days.
AAW supported the challenge through its distributed brands ASICS and INTERSPORT. Participants had the option to walk or run at their own pace and were provided with tracking devices to record the distance covered. Real-time tracking enabled them to view their progress on a live leaderboard, fostering friendly competition and encouraging social connections — all in the spirit of promoting physical activity and community wellness during the holy month of Ramadan.
As part of this sponsorship, ASICS and INTERSPORT hosted a 5-kilometer race, led by the ASICS FrontRunner and INTERSPORT Project Run teams, to encourage participants to go the extra distance. The two brands also offered the challenge winners, three women and three men in the 20–34 age category, with athleisure and footwear prizes.
